A while ago I had my Canada Day BBQ, and amongst the guests there was several vegetarians. The cat showed up to the BBQ with a chipmunk in his mouth and they were just like "See your cat (Meowasaurus) is a good cat, why can't are cat be like that he needs to come over here and learn".

I....was surprised.

Ah, because their cats weren't performing as expected. You can lose all kinds of viewpoint when a tool meant to do X only performs Y, with no explanation. (Y being sleep, eat and poop with no extracurricular activities.)
